Animal Care Services Position

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Certificate III in Animal Care Services and be studying a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology. The successful applicant will also have a strong work ethic, be resilient, and comfortable working in a hospital environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support nursing staff with daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Assist with laboratory tests, including blood draws and urinalyses
  • Provide excellent care and handling of animals during restraint
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients

Requirements:

  • Possess a Certificate III in Animal Care Services
  • Be studying a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
  • Have a strong work ethic and be willing to support the team as needed
  • Be resilient and comfortable working in a hospital environment
  • Be flexible and able to work night and weekend shifts
