We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Treatment Specialist to lead our QLD team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing technical and managerial support to our specialist team, promoting a positive safety culture, and developing and implementing treatment programs for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and technical support to the specialist team
- Promote and ensure a positive safety culture
- Work with the laboratory team to develop and implement treatment programs
- Conduct consultancies for clients relating to water treatment
- Develop customer relationships and ensure service levels are maintained
- Explore opportunities to expand business within the sales region
- Manage the business against budget through regular P&L reporting
- Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or minimum 10 years related water treatment/chemicals experience
- Experience in mining, power, water, or related heavy industry sector
- Competency in data analysis and preparation of reports
- An understanding of chemistry and industrial processes
- Existing experience in a leadership role
- Strong ability to manage a P&L
