Job Title: Metal Fabricator, 4+ Years Experience.

Full-time Position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced metal fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in metal fabrication and hold a Certificate III in Engineering + Fabrication Trade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate signs according to instructions set by the team leader and job sheet.
  • Plan and organize work according to the job sheet from start to completion with excellent time management skills.
  • Involve in pre-fitting fabricated signs and preparing it for the next stage.
  • Be able to multitask and take on additional tasks as and when required.
  • Plan and keep track of materials required for completing the job.
  • Work on assembly and other aspects of signage manufacturing as required.
  • Be actively involved in housekeeping.

Requirements:

  • Achievement-oriented individual determined to attain set goals.
  • Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and identifying errors to be addressed.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously within the context of the position.
  • General signage experience.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Ability to work off job sheets and drawings, reading instructions and following direction.
  • Experience working with acrylic, A.C.M. aluminum and other sheet materials.
  • Consistent cutting and measuring skills.
  • Experience with plant machinery.
  • Forklift license (desirable but not must).

Preferred Attributes:

  • Minimum of 5 years metal fabrication experience.
  • Knowledge in dynamics in signage related industries.
  • Certificate III in Engineering + Fabrication Trade, would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Employer Requirements:

  • Valid work authorization for Australia.

Salary:

$34.00 - $37.00 per hour.
