Hospital Pharmacist Role Overview

We are seeking talented Pharmacists to join our team in a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment.

  • As a key member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products.
About the Job Description

This role involves coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharge.

  • You will work closely with an expert team of allied health professionals and clinicians to provide excellent customer service to clients and patients.
  • Your duties will include developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Dispensing and Supply: Dispense and supply medication and pharmacy products as required.
  2. Patient Coordination: Coordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharge.
  3. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients.
  4. Support and Education: Support patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees. Educate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the proper use of medicines.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • General registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice.
  • Australian working rights, valid for at least the duration of the contract.
  • Personal Indemnity insurance.
