About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician to join our team in the beautiful Mackay Region. As an Electrician with this company, you will be involved in a range of duties including surface installation and cable termination for the mining industry.

Shifts are 9-day fortnights, typically working 10 hours per day from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm, with shorter Mondays and Fridays. This role offers a great work-life balance.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be a self-motivated and reliable individual who can work independently and as part of a team. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues.

  • A current QLD Electrical qualification
  • A Construction Induction card
  • Standard 11 Statement of Attainment and Coal Board Medical
What We Offer

This role comes with a competitive salary of $65-75 per hour, along with a 2.5-hour allowance each way for travel. Transport is provided from Mackay, as is a vehicle for site works. Additionally, you will receive accommodation and meals provided on site, making this a great opportunity for those looking to relocate.
