  • Adaptability & Innovation: Identify and implement innovative solutions to non-traditional retail challenges, supporting Hassett's unique business model.
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain high standards of integrity, building trust within the company and with external customers and partners.
  • Market Trends: Stay up to date with trends and figure out where Hassett can grow.
  • Financial Management: Make sure Hassett spends its money wisely and is focused on maintaining profitability.
  • Technology Integration: Keep the online platform running smoothly and look for new ways to use technology.
  • Social Enterprise: Oversee Hassett's social enterprise.
  • Talent Acquisition: Find talented people to work at Hassett and help them grow their skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a start-up or medium-sized business that has scaled sustainably.
  • Strong understanding of operational management, with the ability to take a hands-on approach.
  • Previous experience working with or mentoring diverse teams.
  • Emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and empathy are essential traits.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and solve problems outside of traditional retail structures.
