Job Title: Director of Inclusive Education

Job Summary:

Parade College is a leading educational institution committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students. We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Inclusive Education to join our College Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the College's Teaching and Learning and Student Wellbeing Strategic Plan, with a focus on promoting inclusive education and addressing the needs of diverse learners.
  • Provide strategic leadership in the area of Learning Diversity, including literacy, numeracy, English as an Additional Language (EAL), refugee and indigenous support, and highly able students.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure that all teaching and learning processes and procedures provide access and growth in learning for all students.
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to promote student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement, particularly for students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Work closely with the College's leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote inclusive education and address the needs of diverse learners.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading and managing inclusive education programs and initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of teaching and learning principles, including differentiated instruction and assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, staff, students, and parents.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff to achieve excellence in inclusive education.
