Job Title:

The Housekeeping Team Leader is responsible for leading a team in daily housekeeping operations across two properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and support the day-to-day housekeeping operations across both properties
  2. Manage workflow, allocate tasks and monitor productivity of the housekeeping team
  3. Conduct room checks and public area inspections to ensure brand standards are met
  4. Ensure timely turnover of rooms in line with guest check-in/out times
Team Development & Support:
  1. Act as a key support for the Housekeeping Manager, covering during absences
  2. Develop, coach and mentor new and existing team members in cleaning procedures, safety protocols and guest etiquette
  3. Foster a positive, respectful and inclusive team culture
Guest Experience:
  1. Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback or room-related issues
  2. Maintain close communication with Front Office and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experience
  3. Set an example by maintaining excellent personal presentation and service delivery
Safety & Compliance:
  1. Adhere to WHS standards by promoting a clean, safe and hazard-free work environment
  2. Properly handle and store chemicals and equipment
  3. Report maintenance issues, hazards or incidents promptly and accurately

Requirements include previous experience in housekeeping, ability to lead and motivate a team, high attention to detail, strong communication skills and reliability. Desired qualifications include supervisory experience and familiarity with property management systems.
