About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioural Paediatrician to join our expanding team at Access Telehealth. Our network comprises top-tier Australian specialists who are registered and insured, providing timely appointments with minimal waiting periods. We extend our services across various demographics, including GP Clinics, individual patients, fellow specialists, and Indigenous Communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize our proprietary Access Specialist software to provide professional medical advice via video telehealth tailored to your specialty.
  • Administer a range of therapies relevant to your specialty, addressing the unique needs of each patient to ensure optimal health outcomes.
  • Post-consultation, provide the referring general practitioner with all relevant documentation, including a summary letter, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain consistent and clear communication with the operations team regarding your availability for telehealth consultations, ensuring a smooth operational flow.
  • Proactively request and review patient test results from other health professionals as necessary to facilitate comprehensive and informed consultations.
  • Stay abreast of industry updates and integrate this knowledge appropriately during consultations to enhance patient care.
Key Selection Criteria
  • Relevant medical qualifications as per practicing specialty.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use video telehealth technology for conducting thorough medical assessments, ensuring a high standard of patient care remotely.
  • Possess strong communication skills necessary for coordinating with both the operational support team and patients, ensuring clear and effective exchanges.
  • Experienced in using scheduling platforms to manage and update availability, facilitating efficient telehealth service delivery.
