This is an exciting opportunity to enhance the independence, health and wellbeing of older Australians while enjoying flexibility, support and a great team environment.
BaptistCare is one of Australia's largest home care providers and a leader in service quality and innovation. We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our growing team in Perth Metro and surrounding areas.
You will deliver evidence-based physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence mobility and confidence to remain living at home.
About The RoleAs a Physiotherapist you will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and outcomes. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills in assessing and treating complex conditions.
- Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
- Demonstrated ability to assess physiotherapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community
- Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services including rehabilitation and community settings
- Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models
- Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- Alignment with BaptistCare's values and mission
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a reliable registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.
