Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our team in Child and Youth Mental Health. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing specialized care and support to young patients with mental health needs.

About the Role:

We have multiple contracts available across Hospital & Health services in QLD, ranging from 4-12 weeks with potential to extend. Duties for this contract include:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care tailored to the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions and support for mental health conditions in young patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health management, treatment options, and community resources.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Essential experience in Child and Youth Mental Health.
  • Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with children and adolescents.
  • AHPRA Registration (must be current)
  • National Police Check
  • Immunisation History
