About the Civil Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Urban Development team. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse, high-impact projects and contribute your expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop high-quality civil design solutions across a range of projects.
  • Contribute to project development, including budgeting and fee proposal preparation.
  • Deliver detailed civil design services, including earthworks, drainage, car parks, roads, pavements, and utilities.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, landscape architects, and other engineers at project meetings.
  • Support project management activities, including scheduling and reporting.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including bids and proposals.
  • Promote continuous improvement in engineering processes and delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards) with NER accreditation.
  • 4+ years' experience in civil design for land development or brownfield projects.
  • Solid technical expertise in civil design with knowledge of relevant guidelines, Australian Standards, and Local Council Planning Schemes.
  • Familiarity with brownfield projects, water environments, and water resource management.
  • Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, 12D, Drains, and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience in QA processes and design reviews.
