About the Role:

As a senior leader, you will oversee and manage an Operations team to ensure seamless execution of audit activities.

You will coordinate scheduling, travel arrangements and deliver administrative support to facilitate timely progression of regulatory activities.

Your duties will include leading a geographically dispersed team, fostering a collaborative culture through capability development and performance feedback.

You will provide strategic supervision and guidance to staff, building individual and team capability to support effective management of operations.

You will oversee logistics, administration and travel coordination to ensure operational activities proceed as planned.

You will lead effective communication with providers and stakeholders, ensuring timely progress of regulatory activities.

You will collaborate across the Regulatory Operations Division and broader operations function to implement the audit program.

You will maintain oversight of audit and accreditation decision-making performance to support informed decision-making.

You will exercise professional judgement to identify and assess operational risks.

About the Team:

The Audit function is responsible for monitoring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards by undertaking audits of residential aged care services.

The Audit operations team schedules audits and provides administrative support to enable those audits.

The Audit team gathers consumer feedback on care and services to inform audits.

Audit manages identified risk through a Risk Assessment and Response Plan (RARP), referring issues to the Risk Intake & Analysis (RIA) team as needed.

Audit engages extensively with stakeholders and collaborates internally across the Commission.
