WAREHOUSE ENGINEER ROLE

CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Warehouse Engineer to drive process improvements across our contract logistics warehouse business operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with sites to enhance their processes in line with LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Delivering project improvements focusing on identifying opportunities, process re-engineering, driving efficiency through process change, and redesigning and implementing operational layout changes
  • Providing guidance and support to sites to enable them to successfully conduct and complete Kaizen activities through training, coaching, and data analysis
  • Developing and maintaining BPE tools such as 5S & Scheduling tool, performance boards, productivity reports, utilisation reports
  • Guiding and driving our operations teams to achieve and maintain target levels on our site accreditation program

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal candidate possesses a tertiary qualification in industrial engineering, logistics, and supply chain management, or a related field, with solid experience gained in a related role in any industry, preferably logistics, supply chain, manufacturing, resources, or related.

Key attributes:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with utilising process improvement tools, Kaizen, Lean, etc.
  • Clear communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions and make appropriate recommendations
  • Strong MS Excel skills including use of VLOOKUPS, pivot tables (bonus: VBA, Macros)
  • Bonus: 2D drawing/design experience in AutoCAD or similar

Progressed candidates will be required to complete a medical assessment and national police check.
