Speech Pathologist Role

This position is ideal for passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologists who want to make a real impact on clients living with dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke complications, progressive neurological conditions, and age-related decline.

As a Speech Pathologist in this role, you will have the flexibility to manage your own calendar of appointments and choose work hours and locations. You will assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties, deliver in-person and telehealth-based interventions, and collaborate with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage own calendar of appointments with flexibility to choose work hours and locations
  • Assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties
  • Deliver in-person and telehealth-based interventions
  • Collaborate with state-based Speech Pathology Team Leader and national team
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transport
  • Passion for working with older adults and individuals with complex needs
