We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Finance Manager to partner with our product development team, providing expert financial guidance and support. The successful candidate will have a strong technical accounting background, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. You will be comfortable working with complex data sets, identifying trends, and developing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

A key aspect of this role is building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, including product development teams, FP&A, and senior leadership. Your excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner will be essential in driving collaboration and achieving shared goals.

In terms of specific responsibilities, you can expect to:

  • Develop and manage product development budgets and forecasts, ensuring accurate financial planning and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost savings, process improvements, and revenue growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to understand financial implications of new projects and initiatives.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to help drive strategic decision-making across product development.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:

  • A strong technical accounting background, with a relevant qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, CPA).
  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably in an IT or software company.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • A passion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and making a meaningful impact on the business.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
