We are seeking a Senior Community Engagement Coordinator to design, develop and implement special programs catering to the diverse needs of our residents.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and conducting tailored programs for individual residents, as well as participating in the organization of functions and encouraging residents towards a higher quality of life through meaningful activities.

  • Develop and conduct programs tailored to individualized needs
  • Participate in the organisation of events
  • Assess, develop and review care plans for resident's activities
  • Encourage residents towards a better quality of life

This is a part-time, permanent opportunity with flexible shifts across 4 days per week. The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or other relevant qualification, current First Aid Certificate, and experience in planning, implementing and evaluating activities and programmes for frail people with cognitive impairment and other disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Design and deliver engaging programs that cater to the unique needs of our residents
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate events
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to residents
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and reviews
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or other relevant qualification
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating activities and programmes for frail people with cognitive impairment and other disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
