About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Multimedia Designer to join our team at Box Hill Institute. As a Multimedia Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and interactive multimedia content for our online learning resources and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop multimedia projects, including graphic images, animations, sound, text, and video.
  • Work with innovative technologies to extend the portfolio of online learning resources and services offered by the Teaching Development and Innovation team.
  • Collaborate with employees across the Institute and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and skills in multimedia design and development.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Multimedia Designer who possesses a degree or diploma in Multimedia/IT and Graphic Design, or equivalent. You will have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your ability to design and develop engaging and interactive multimedia content.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in multimedia design and development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience in developing e-learning content and integrating it within a Learning Management System (MOODLE).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
