Carpenter Trainer

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced Carpenter with a passion for training and assessment to join our team as a Trainer and Assessor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and assess Certificate III in Carpentry courses to students on a contractor basis
• Review, validate, moderate and improve training resources and assessment materials for the course
• Consult with clients on their current and future workforce training needs
• Grade student materials in a timely and accurate manner

About You

• 5 or more years experience working in the Carpentry Industry
• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualifications
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Australian Business Number (ABN) that is up to date and active
• Current unrestricted Drivers License
• Demonstrated ability in high level communication, negotiation and consultation skills
• Experience in providing high level advice/guidance on a range of complex matters
• Strong relationship building and collaborative skills
