Job Overview

As a Homemaker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a household. You will allocate tasks to team members based on resident preferences and work to promote a cohesive and harmonious environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing queries and feedback from residents, team members, and service providers
  • Maintaining equipment to ensure safe working order and arranging maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Tracking supplies and consumables and reordering as necessary
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities and personal care, prioritizing dignity and independence
  • Continuously improving our service to meet high standards
Requirements:
  • A Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous supervisory experience in aged or community care is preferred, but relevant industry experience is also considered
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and commitment to our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness
  • Experience with client/data management systems
  • Additional certifications: Assist Clients with Medication, Recognise Healthy Body Systems, Provide Support to People Living with Dementia
