Job Description

You will work closely with two pre-eminent Partners in a leading national firm. Our client seeks a talented and professional self-starter to provide pragmatic and solutions-focused advice to Commonwealth Government clients, mentor and supervise other lawyers, and help grow the practice.

You will have the opportunity to work on complex, interesting, and high-profile projects. To succeed, you must gain the trust and confidence of clients, bring a level-headed and strategic perspective to problem-solving, and possess strong legal drafting skills and attention to detail.

What We're Looking For
  • At least 5 years' experience as a lawyer working with government clients
  • General commercial law and contracting experience
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and grants frameworks
  • Good understanding of public sector ethical and probity principles
  • Strong emotional intelligence and inter-personal skills
  • A collaborative, team-focused attitude
  • A keenness to learn and help others learn
