Job Title: Infrastructure Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Planning Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing specialized technical support in managing and planning infrastructure assets including water, wastewater, and stormwater assets.

About the Role:

The Infrastructure Planning Specialist will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships and providing technical advice to identify servicing opportunities that ensure the business meets regulatory requirements for developers, customers, internal, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, prioritize, and allocate applications to the appropriate resource within the team to ensure work is delivered on time and meeting quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical advice that contributes to planning outcomes and the development of best practice planning approaches.
  • Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable consideration of stakeholder needs and expectations in planning processes and projects.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Planning, or similar related qualifications (desirable).
  • Knowledge of effective stakeholder engagement processes and collaborative planning experience.
