About the Role

  • The primary objective is to oversee the fabrication of structural steel components and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Assist the Workshop Manager in controlling staff and maintaining output efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

  • Fabricate structural steel components as required.
  • Schedule and organize factory staff to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards, identifying non-conforming work and initiating rectification.
  • Ensure machinery maintenance and cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar or supervisory role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards.
  • Proven experience in welding, fabrication, materials management, forklift operation, and overhead crane use.
  • Customer service focused with excellent communication skills.
  • Police Clearance and valid Driving License.
