Course Structure:

  2. Week 2: Rewrite and edit techniques, guided edits, and interview methods
  3. Week 3: Travel writing, research, and expeditions
  4. Week 4: Environmental journalism, research, and final project submission
Expeditions:
  • Explore the Garden Route Region of South Africa, visiting reserves, sanctuaries, tourism attractions, and research institutes
  • Visit locations such as Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, George, Mossel Bay, Port Elizabeth, Albertinia, Sedgefield, and Wilderness
