**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced fund administration professional to join our team as Head of Fund Accounting. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our fund accounting team, developing and implementing fund administration strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the fund accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement fund administration strategies to align with business objectives.
  • Establish and refine accounting policies, procedures, and controls to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee fund accounting operations, ensuring seamless processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly fund performance and statutory reports.
  • Analyze and implement changes in accounting standards, preparing impact assessments and ensuring compliance.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or Superannuation Management, with RG146 compliance accreditation.
  • 8+ years in supervisory or management roles within fund accounting, financial reporting, and the superannuation and asset management industries.
  • Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and ability to assess complex financial data to make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and build multi-level relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
