Culinary Expertise

Chilli Bites Indian Restaurant is seeking a skilled Culinary Expert to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting food items to ensure quality and freshness
  • Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
  • Preparing and cooking food to meet customer requirements
  • Seasoning food during cooking to enhance flavors
  • Portioning food, plating it, and adding gravies, sauces, and garnishes
  • Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities to maintain quality
  • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
  • Possibly planning menus and estimating food requirements
  • Potentially training other kitchen staff and apprentices
Requirements:
  • Flexible hours available
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required
  • Working rights required for this role
  • Position: Full-time
  • Expected salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
