Electrical Engineer Manager

  • We are seeking an Electrical Engineer Manager to coordinate the work of electrical engineers with a multidisciplinary team throughout project development.
  • The ideal candidate will establish client relations, participate in marketing, design, and production meetings related to electrical systems, and assume electrical lead on multiple projects.

The Electrical Engineer Manager will participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance, conduct schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site. This includes tracking financial aspects of projects and directing activities of other electrical engineering professionals as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • 10 years of experience in electrical design with expertise in water and wastewater projects

Required Skills:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems)
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Extensive knowledge of building electrical power, lighting, and signal design, including life safety systems and building management systems
  • Strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, and electrical design software
