About the Role

We are seeking a Tax Advisor to join our national team based in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our Partners and lawyers to provide expert advice on complex transactions and disputes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tax advisory services to clients across various sectors, including technology and energy;
  • Representing clients in tax litigation cases, including transfer pricing and ATO engagements;
  • Collaborating with other practice groups to deliver seamless and commercially optimised advice and specialist transactional support;
  • Working closely with leading members of the tax bar to manage client matters.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in tax advisory and litigation, preferably at a large law firm or recognised specialist tax practice;
  • A strong understanding of Australian tax laws and regulations;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues;
  • A high degree of independence and autonomy, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
