Dispensary Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Dispensary Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in the dispensary, stock ordering, and providing information to customers.

Main Duties

The Dispensary Technician will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the pharmacist in the dispensary
  • Stock ordering & unpacking of dispensary lines
  • Providing appropriate information and advice to customers on OTC medicines
  • Maintaining order and cleanliness of the dispensary
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Webster packing as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following:

  • Previous Pharmacy experience
  • Strong Pharmacy product knowledge
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Reliable and enthusiastic work ethic
  • Adaptability and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A warm, approachable and empathetic nature
  • Ability to show initiative and work with limited supervision
  • Certificate III in Community Pharmacy and/or Dispensary Technician qualifications
