Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Dysphagia Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with paediatric clients and their carers, providing high-quality speech pathology services to support outcomes in paediatric feeding and dysphagia.


About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention services across inpatient and outpatient caseloads. They will also undertake designated non-clinical tasks to support service delivery, including clinical supervision, quality improvement activities, and administrative tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert speech pathology services to paediatric clients and their carers, supporting outcomes in paediatric feeding and dysphagia.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective intervention plans, working collaboratively with families and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure seamless communication and coordination between multidisciplinary teams, prioritizing efficient and effective service delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a bachelor or postgraduate degree in speech pathology and be eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia. You must have demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in paediatric feeding and/or dysphagia, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
