Your Role

You'll own the data component of our Digital PR campaigns, from research and collection to analysis and final output. You'll collaborate with the Data Team and work closely with the Digital PR Leads, helping them bring campaign ideas to life through accurate, compelling, and story-worthy datasets.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Own all data-related aspects of assigned campaigns.
  • Write scripts to extract data from websites, APIs, and structured sources.
  • Evaluate data for quality, feasibility, and campaign relevance.
  • Write clear methodologies that explain data sources and logic.
  • Collaborate during ideation and campaign planning.
  • Contribute to ideation by advising on what data or angles are viable.
  • Spot trends, outliers, and story potential in datasets.
  • Occasionally collaborate with journalists to help make complex data easy to understand.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • 1-2 years in a data analysis role (agency or freelance preferred).
  • Proficient in web scraping (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Selenium, pandas).
  • Strong in Google Sheets and Excel (e.g., cleaning, analysis, pivoting, formulas, formatting).
  • Able to judge data feasibility early and communicate limitations clearly.
  • Strong written communication especially in methodology writing.
  • High attention to detail and time management.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple projects.
  • Curious, proactive, and always up for a challenge.
