We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team in Western Sydney. This role will involve providing life-changing therapy to NDIS participants, working closely with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the growth and development of our organisation.

About the Role
  • As a Behaviour Support Practitioner at Everyday Independence, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse settings, from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centres.
  • You will be responsible for utilising assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maximising NDIS funding.
  • Your key focus areas will include building meaningful relationships with participants and their supports, developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans with function-based strategies, and conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).

Requirements

  • You must be deemed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission, with evidence of letter required.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification, such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, or related field.
