Organizational Development Specialist Job Description:

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Organizational Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing fit-for-purpose solutions, and implementing learning and development interventions to support the overall strategy of the organization.

About the Role
  • The Organizational Development Specialist will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement training programs that meet the needs of the organization.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships across all levels with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Manage and maintain skills matrices, gap analysis, training programs, content, and materials.
  • Provide reporting, insights, and data-driven assessment to measure the impact of learning and development activities on capability growth.
  • Assist in the implementation and delivery of the annual performance development review process and succession planning initiatives.
  • Provide ad-hoc coaching and facilitating where required to supervisory and managerial positions.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Learning and Development or Human Resources.
  • Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
  • Previous experience working on learning and development or organizational development projects or initiatives.
  • Solid track record in working with and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused.
  • A sound understanding of training options and solutions in the marketplace.
  • Proven understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Working knowledge of psychometrics and techniques for assessment/development.
  • Previous experience working within the Civil and Mining Industry is desirable.
