Early Childhood Teacher Role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Early Childhood Teacher to lead our team in delivering high-quality education and care to children aged 0-6 years.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the National Quality Standard for Early Education and Care.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate early childhood programs aligned with approved learning frameworks and NQF guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff to create a connected and inclusive learning environment.
  2. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure optimal learning and developmental outcomes.
  3. Implement organisational policies and procedures at all times.
  4. Provide ongoing support to the Centre Director.
Selection Criteria:
  • Relevant degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Accredited Child Protection Training, CPR, First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management training certificates, and Food Handler Basic Training certificates.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate early childhood programs as required by the EYLF & MTOP.
  • Sound understanding of Education and Care Services National Law & National Education and Care Services Regulation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hold valid National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check.
  • Previous experience in childcare setting preferred.
