About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an After School Technology Instructor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and facilitating our coding and creative programs to children aged 5-12 years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and facilitate lesson plans to a class of students, either solo or in a team
  • Set up and pack away equipment provided by Code Camp
  • Engage with students in a fun and safe manner, both inside and outside the classroom
  • Communicate with Head Office via Slack if any questions or concerns arise
  • Complete online staff training prior to the first session
Requirements
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably in a technology-related setting
  • Tech-savviness, with the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
  • Beginner coding knowledge, preferably with drag and drop/block coding experience
  • Confidence in speaking in front of a small group of children and delivering lesson plans in a fun and engaging way
  • Mature outlook, common sense, and ability to identify and manage risk, ensuring active supervision of children
  • Fluent conversational English
  • Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain it immediately
  • A laptop with the ability to connect to a HDMI port
