We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Pet Care Specialist at PETstock Retail Pty Ltd.
As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth running of the stockroom, and contributing to a fun and supportive store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Stockroom Management: Ensure the stockroom is organized and well-maintained, including processing deliveries and orders, conducting stocktakes, and performing cleaning and organizing tasks.
- Stock Control: Assist with all stock control processes, including counting and receiving goods, and checking orders before delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and making recommendations on pet care products and services.
- Sales and Merchandising: Complete sales transactions, aim to meet or exceed sales targets, and maintain a visually appealing store environment by ensuring all products are properly displayed and stocked.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals, maintain a positive and inclusive store culture, and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail and stock coordination is essential.
- Passion for Animals: A genuine passion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent customer service is required.
- Physical Demands: The ability to lift products up to 20kgs is necessary.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and public holidays is essential.
