Job Description

Permanent Part-Time & Casual Personal Care Assistants play a vital role in delivering quality care to residents. They work under the guidance of Registered Nurses, assisting with daily living activities such as mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and grooming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to residents, prioritizing their needs and well-being.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility, nutrition, hygiene, and grooming.
  • Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to achieve best possible outcomes for residents.
  • Develop strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification is essential.
  • A National Police Check is required.
  • Experience working in Australian Aged Care facilities is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Empathy and understanding of the needs of elderly residents and their families are crucial.
