About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned and commercially savvy professional to fill a key position in our Commercial Law team in Melbourne. This role offers broad exposure across multiple industries and client groups, providing opportunities for growth and development.
- Demonstrated experience working in corporate and commercial law, particularly in M&A transactions managing deals of significant value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to provide strategic, commercial advice.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to excellence in client service.
- Experience in delegating, mentoring, and managing junior lawyers.
- An interest in business development and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality legal advice on complex commercial matters.
- Lead and manage projects with cross-functional teams.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of business strategies and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law.
- Strong understanding of commercial law principles and practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
