We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manufacturing/Industrial Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at LNW Gaming ANZ Pty Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, driving operational efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, and quality within the organization.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma methodologies, process automation, and cost reduction efforts.
- Evaluate existing manufacturing systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions to enhance overall operational performance.
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness of new product designs.
- Analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve cycle time, throughput, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure manufacturing performance, track progress, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team on complex manufacturing and industrial engineering projects.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in manufacturing and industrial engineering, and incorporate them into the organization's processes and strategies.
- Mentor and train junior engineers, promoting their professional growth and fostering a culture of continuous learning within the team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience (6+ years) in manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering roles, preferably in a leadership capacity (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in manufacturing process design, layout optimization, and production planning.
- Experience with manufacturing systems and technologies, such as computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided manufacturing (CAM), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards related to manufacturing processes, such as ISO 9001.
