Job Description

We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to join our team in Avondale Heights. As a Community Disability Support Worker, you will provide support to an Italian client with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
  • Providing support with hygiene and personal care
  • Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
  • Assisting with medication compliance, which may include dispensing prescription medication
  • Meal assistance, including meal preparation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:


Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Italian
  • A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Australian Drivers License (minimum P2), reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
  • NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months), & National police clearance – or willingness to obtain
