A nanny who can structure their day, follow the children's routines, and provide fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children's development.
A nanny who prioritizes children's safety, is trustworthy, reliable, adaptive, and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.
The role will mostly consist of taking care of the younger child as the older child attends school. During school holidays, the nanny will care for both children.
Responsibilities:
- Care for the children
- Follow the children's routine including nap time for the youngest child
- Play and engage with the children and create developmentally suitable activities in an indoor and outdoor environment
- Light household duties – tidying and clearing, dishes, vacuum, mop, make children's beds
- Help prep/cook meals for the children
- Children's laundry
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
- Current first aid certificate
- Children's CPR is highly desirable
- Current Blue Card
- Strong communication skills and speak English
- Child Safety Practices
- Full Driver's licence and clean driving record
- Experience cooking/preparing nutritious meals and food safety skills
Contract: Permanent/long term
Pay: From $35 per hour depending on experience
Days and Hours: 3 days per week, flexible for the right candidate
