Claims Management Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Claims Consultant to join Sustain Recruit and work with a leading Superannuation fund. As a Claims Consultant, you will be responsible for the proactive management of a portfolio of life insurance claims for valued members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret relevant information to form appropriate claims strategies and determine correct benefit entitlements, ensuring timely payment in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
- Manage a portfolio of claims cases, including preparation of documentation, record keeping, and completion of agreed actions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including proactive communication with customers and clients relating to claims management and initiating support options where necessary.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and partner stakeholders, monitoring service delivery and quality.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar claims management role in the Superannuation or Insurance Industry.
- Ability to build rapport and empathy with customers during difficult times and a commitment to delivering proactive, high-quality customer service.
- Advanced time management and prioritisation skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Health, or Allied Health are desirable.
