We are looking for a Technical Writer who will join the AH-64E Apache team. The helicopter has been selected for the Australian Army and will be coming into service soon.

This role is based at Swartz Barracks, Oakey.

• Receive and incorporate publication change requests from flight crews and work with the technical support team to propose changes to the customer for approval.
• Conduct audits and checks of the publications suite.
• Draft technical instructions based on provided technical and engineering data.
• Be the primary point of contact within the program for publications.

You will work closely with Apache Coordinators and Execution Leads to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks to achieve project revision deliveries.

To be successful in this role you will have a collaborative team approach, well-developed analytical skills and excellent written and verbal skills.

Experience in the development of technical publications and instructions for a new or fielded major equipment system is required. You must also have experience in managing a publications library.
