Youth Counsellor

We are seeking two experienced Youth Counsellors to join our team at Grand Pacific Health. As a Youth Counsellor, you will work closely with young people aged 12-25 who are experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. You will provide early intervention counselling and support services to help them achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions to young people
• Assess the mental health and psycho-social support needs of young people
• Develop and implement treatment plans to address the needs of young people
• Work collaboratively with other service providers to ensure a comprehensive support network for young people
• Provide education and support to young people and their families

• Qualifications in Social Work, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Psychology, or other relevant field
• Experience working with young people and their families
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
