Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to champion data across our business, building and maintaining efficient data infrastructure and pipelines, ensuring user access and trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and enhance data pipeline architecture and infrastructure
  • Design and build large, complex data sets and data models based on business needs
  • Identify and implement process improvements in data engineering
  • Leverage data for improved business decisions
  • Assist in designing and implementing Google Cloud solutions
  • Develop and maintain high-quality dashboards using Tableau
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL, data modelling, and pipelines
  • 2+ years of Python experience for data integration and analysis
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud technologies
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking
  • Proficient in deploying and using dbt and data integration tools like Fivetran
  • Curious mindset, with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Skilled in converting business needs into quality SQL code
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau (preferred), PowerBI, or Looker
  • Demonstrated experience handling large data volumes
  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments
  • Experience working in ecommerce is highly desirable
