About the Job

We are seeking an experienced E&I Construction Engineer to join our Operations business in Darwin, Australia. As a member of our team, you will support one of our long-term client partners within the Oil & Gas industry on an established WA brownfields Engineering Service Contract.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of FEED deliverables associated with Construction activities;
  • Creating access work packs;
  • Input into construction feasibility studies;
  • Providing inputs into constructability reviews, schedules and estimates;
  • Coordinating with personnel offshore;
  • Input into design and engineering to ensure Construction activities are optimized and the works scopes can be completed safely and efficiently.
Qualifications

Suitably qualified with a degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering (or a tertiary qualification supported with 5+ years of relevant industry experience). Ideally, you will have proven experience in a similar role as an E&I Construction Engineer within a Brownfield EPC, ESC or EPCM environment, preferably within the Australian Oil & Gas / LNG industry.

  • A demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Previous experience in a role of construction engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team
  • Experience of interpreting discipline documentation
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPs) and Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDS)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of technical specifications
