Team Packaging Lead

Job Overview As a Team Packaging Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of our production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the work of the day shift, reporting to the packaging supervisor and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a leadership role in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of 15 staff members, including a lead packer and casuals, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Conduct regular toolbox talks to promote safety awareness and best practices.
  • Inspect materials and equipment to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Utilize SAP to set up lines for picking and staging materials.
  • Maintain adherence to strict GMP protocols and monitor compliance.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports to management.
  • Support projects aimed at implementing automated packaging machinery and smart scales.
  • Perform hands-on packaging duties as required.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a production or packing environment within food, FMCG, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other GMP environments.
  • Experience with bagging, labeling, or packaging machines.
  • Strong emphasis on safety protocols.
  • Able to work effectively in a multicultural team setting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work full-time hours (Monday-Friday 6am-2pm).
  • Some people leadership experience preferred.
  • GMP experience or exposure highly desirable.
