Lead Adventure Program Facilitator

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who can effectively facilitate activities and provide supervision for school-aged children participating in camps, expeditions, and day programs. This role offers variety and opportunities for skill development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate activities and ensure participant safety during outdoor programs
  • Adhere to organisational Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and relevant directives
  • Participate in communication and development systems, such as staff meetings and planning sessions
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve program consistency and efficiency
  • Display professionalism and courtesy in interactions with clients and staff
  • Implement contingency plans to address operational issues

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation or equivalent experience
  • Hold or be working towards an adventure activity-specific qualification
  • Working knowledge of outdoor industry risk management practices and standards
  • Previous experience facilitating outdoor activities in a similar setting
