Production Administrator

About the Role

As a Production Administrator at Ampcontrol, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our workshop and field service teams. This role will ensure a smooth production process and high-level customer service standards are maintained.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support to our workshop and field service teams
  • Ensure a smooth production process
  • Perform a diverse range of functions including general administration, processing orders, compiling quotations, scheduling jobs, procurement, coordinating inventory, invoicing, document control, reporting & liaising with customers
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements
  • Utilize business systems and software to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as required

Requirements

  • Well-developed customer service and business communication skills
  • Advanced administrative skills with a focus on quality and accuracy
  • High level proficiency in MS applications (word, excel)
  • Experience in manufacturing operation/workshop environment
  • Expertise in business database usage or with an ERP/MRP – data entry, report generation and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with invoicing, job costing and job closure – advantageous
  • Qualifications in Business Administration and/or relevant work experience
