As a Marketing and Communications Manager at Ventia, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing communication, community, and stakeholder engagement strategies and plans that support our contracts, sector, and corporate marketing and communications objectives.

About the Role


You will provide strategic guidance and leadership to uphold a team culture that is committed to nurturing our people and maintaining ourselves as proactive and positively contributing guests of the communities within which we work.



  • Community and Stakeholder Management: Develop site engagement plans, research and mitigate potential stakeholder issues, administer communication, and update document management systems
  • Communications, Marketing, and Business Development: Develop the comms and marketing annual plan, ensure internal communications, provide strategic advice on positioning and branding of bids and tenders
  • Communications and Marketing Governance: Ensure compliance with DOA
  • Community and Diversity Investment: Engage with the community, sponsor events, and support committees and working groups
  • Promote a positive safety, health, environment, and sustainability-focused team culture
  • Drive teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives


Key Skills and Experience


Experience in a similar role providing strategic advice and technical support in construction and maintenance-related industries will see you succeed.



  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or public relations
  • IAP2 Certificate or similar
  • Strong understanding of brand and marketing value creation and trends
  • Experience in external and internal communications
  • Experience in producing and managing photography and video assets
  • Self-motivated, strong communicator, results-driven
